Vodafone Launches Cheapo-Contract Rim's BlackBerry Bold

Vodafone Launches Cheapo-Contract Rim's BlackBerry Bold
  • Digg del.icio.us reddit Facebook
For GBP35 per month for a two year long contract, you can bag the rather exclusive RIM Blackberry Bold on Vodafone; although Orange and T-Mobile both have it on their network for the last two weeks, they cost £10 extra per month although the contracts are shorter at 18 months.

The contract provides 600 anytime, any network minutes and a meagre 500MB worth of data allowance; as for the phone, it comes with 7.2mbps HSDPA and WiFi connectivity with a GPS to boot from but only a two-megapixel camera.

On top of that, you get Blackberry's signature QWERTY keyboard as well as that small pearl trackball which adorns the smartphone plus a half-VGA color screen (no touchscreen unfortunately).

Three and O2 have yet to officially announce their "bold" although in O2's case, the mobile phone provider is understandably keen to promote iPhone as the perfect business partner.

Three Mobile said that it will come up with this particular Crackberry in November.
