Sony has rolled out its new HSDPA supported handset, G705 that offers Wi-Fi connectivity to its users, to help them stay connected while on the move.

Flaunted with a 2.4-inch wide screen display, the device offers a variety of features, such as - in-built GPS application with ‘Wayfinder’ feature, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certification - the technology already seen in Nokia and Samsung handsets - and sets up communication between the other devices available in its vicinities.

Furthermore, the handset also sports an HTML browser, with direct shortcut key to Google and lets its users to upload videos from YouTube directly, without requiring them to connect to the computer.

Sony has also announced its first UMA supported phone, G705u that would allow its users to move across the mobile networks and local area networks seamlessly and the handset would be available with the mobile operator Orange exclusively.

G705 will be available in two striking colours, Majestic Black and Silky Gold, whereas the G705u will only be available in Luminous Black only.
